POLICE ACROSS INDIA ARE SCREENING THE FILM
TO GENDER SENSITIZE THE FORCE

A never before in the world where the Police have come together to join forces and take an active stand against the issue of gender violence.
The film is being screened across the Police force in India, starting with the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai with a police force of 50,000 officers and Commissioner of Police in India’s capital Delhi, which has the largest Police force in India comprising of 80,000 officers.

For the first time, Commissioner of Police Delhi, Mr. Neeraj Kumar granted persmission for a camera to be allowed inside the Delhi Police Control and Command room, right after the brutal rape and murder of Nirbhaya.

Commissioner of Police Mumbai, Mr. Rakesh Maria together with ‘Daughters of Mother India’ film team create a PSA campaign for Police-Public partnership to build trust between the Police and Public so more women come forward to report a sexual crime.
